ASSESSMENT CRITERIA
The jury will consider the entries in relation to the objectives of promoting diversity and combating discrimination. Moreover, preference will be given to those articles that particularly raise the awareness for of the issue of diversity in employment or that sensitise young people for the benefits of diversity and discrimination on multiple grounds the need to combat discrimination.
In addition, the jury members will consider more general evaluation criteria including:
- Newsworthiness and relevance of information
- Ability to get the reader’s interest
- Objectivity, independency, respect for journalistic ethical principles
- Originality of the subject
- Impact of the work and its public benefit
- Research required collecting information, resources and effort expended in the preparation of work.
- Quality of writing and language
